I went to Safeway Preston Rd, Dallas, TX last weekend of January 2024 to buy my weekly medicine and groceries, I had heard that Samsung Pay was accepted at many stores, but I wasn’t sure if Safeway was one of them. So when I arrived to pick up my groceries for the week, I was delighted to see that yes they accepted Samsung Pay! With a few taps and swipes across my phone’s screen, my payment went through with ease.

How to Use Samsung Pay At Safeway?

If you’re looking for an easy and secure way to pay at Safeway, Samsung Pay is the answer. This popular digital wallet payment system is accepted at all Safeway stores, allowing you to make purchases quickly and conveniently. What I did are the following steps

  • First, download the free Samsung Pay app from the Google Play store or Apple App Store and create an account.
  • Link a supported credit card or debit card of your choice to your account on the app.
  • When you’re ready to pay for items at Safeway, open up the app on your device,
  • Choose which card you want to use for payment,
  • Then place it near the terminal’s NFC reader until it prompts that payment was successful.
